Drishti Pillai is the associate director of the Racial Equity and Health Policy Program and director of Immigrant Health Policy at KFF. In this role, she helps oversee data and policy analysis on health and health care disparities affecting historically marginalized and underserved populations, with a focus on immigrants. Prior to joining KFF, she was the research director at the National Asian Pacific American Women\u2019s Forum and also held research and faculty positions at George Washington University. Dr. Pillai holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology from Ohio State University, a Master of Public Health degree from Emory University and a Ph.D. in public policy and public administration from George Washington University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
